November to April the Paynton Ferry is out and only an “ICE BRIDGE” is available.

Please call Turtle River RM - 306 397 2311 to find out current conditions of the “ice bridge” and plan an alternate route if required. If the road is not in yet or you're not up to the challenge you have to access us via Hwy 26 from Turtleford (if you are coming from the North or West of us ) or Hwy 26 & North Battleford (if coming from the South or East of us)

Summer Hours – Ferry Service is 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. - 7 days a week & stats.

Lunch breaks approx 12:00 – 12:30) and 2 15 min breaks mid morning & afternoon.(Sorry, you may have a short wait if they are on a break).

Don't plan on crossing in the wee hours of the morning (after  11:30 p.m.) – it won't be staffed!
