2001 Sorrel APHA Homozygous Tobiano Stallion

Harry is homozygous for the tobiano gene - so he will always produce
tobiano coat pattern on a foal regardless of the mares color. By breeding homozygous
tobiano we have eliminated the risks or producing breeding stocks and lethal white
offspring. There is NO IMPRESSIVE bloodline in this pedigree - no HYPP offspring.
We bought Harry as a yearling and started him under saddle after his two year old breeding
season. He was extremely easy to start and required little ground work and caught on
quickly. He had absolutely no buck in him, no tricks up his sleeve and was always honest
& willing to learn more. He has an awesome work ethic and is disciplined &
athletic - yet focused under
saddle - even through breeding season. |
He is easy & willing to ride away "solo"
from his mares during breeding season. He is quiet, gentle, passive & kind with
exceptional ground manners and respect for people. When folks come to view mares and foals
in pasture they sometimes have to enquire "which one is the stallion?", We can
easily catch him in his 160 acre pasture & ride him bareback back and forth from home
to the breeding pasture. We have taken him trail
riding with groups of mares and geldings and is a gentleman on the trail. He
readily accepts new tasks we ask of him. We have taught him to drive as well, often in the
winter - instead of getting fat - he enjoys pulling the cutter.

He passes his kind, easy going nature onto
his offspring. He has excellent bone and feet and is a low maintenance stallion. He has a
gorgeous head that each offspring is stamped with. He produces correct, balanced
beautifully marked babies. His offspring
are very personable, friendly and love attention. They also are easy going, sensible,
versatile, willing, and athletic. His first foal crop is now three years old - the two
that remained in Canada are already proving their versatility. The started offspring are
quiet, safe & honest. They possess both mature body and minds and are easily started
without complications at two years of age.

His first foal crop is now 6 years old and all have matured to close
to 16 hh - so we are getting alot of mature size on his offspring. Offspring are as
diverse and versatile in their abilities as their owners. They compete in a wide variety
of events from earning APHA show points to dressage, team roping and barrel racing.
Harry's offspring hit the showpen (both breed and open show) last year earning APHA points
in halter, color, showmanship, hunter under saddle, hunt seat equitation, trail, western
pleasure and horsemanship (earned by a 3 year old) another filly has earned a PAC
certificate of recognition and currently leads the PAC halter division in Canada. The
started offspring are quiet, safe and honest. They are easy, uncomplicated starts
for both youth and amatuer riders. They possess
both mature body and minds and are ready to start basics as 2 year olds.

His sire - Class Time is the sire of Ronnie Nordalls (Sask P.H.A president) great all
around mare - " RMW Shi Time" who has earned APHA points in Novice,Youth,
Amatuer & open halter, showmanship, lunge line, hunt seat equitation, hunter under
saddle, western pleasure, western horsemanship and trail.
Target Class (Harry's Grandsire) is the earner of APHA halter points & the Super Six
Stallion Award (Rapid City, P-O-R). He is the producer of APHA Champions & multiple
winners and APHA point earners in lungeline, halter, western pleasure & hunter under
saddle. He has produced many Sask futurity winners and Grand & Reserve Halter
champions.
Maternal grandsire SpotsDotsandMore is sired by MK'S Black Pepper - producer of halter
& performance points earners, Grand & Reserve Halter Champions, APHA Champions, 4
ROM earners who earned 12 ROMs.
Maternal Granddam - Gallant Tiffany is grandsire is Gallant Ghost - superior halter, 16
Halter Grand Championships , 8 Reserve Halter Championships, Race ROM, One of the very few
APHA Stallions to earn APHA SUPREME CHAMPION status. He is an APHA Champion, Versatility
Champion, Hunter Under Saddle ROM , Barrel Racing ROM, Heading ROM, Heeling ROM, Working
Cow horse and Hunter Under Saddle points.

"Sam"
is a 2006 Double Homozygous (Homozygous for the tobiano coat pattern & Homozygous
Black- tested at the University of Kentucky) which means he will always produce a tobiano
coat pattern and will always produce foals with at least one black gene. He is guaranteed
to produce only black, bay, buckskin or dun tobianos - depending upon the color gene
of the mare.
Sams first foals arrived last spring and have been awesome to work with .. just like their
father. Pleasant attitudes, keen to learn, personable, gentle, kind and easy to work with.
We look forward to starting them under saddle next year as 2 year olds. |

We have over the past few years, been collecting some awesome bloodlines to cross with
him. We will also be retaining some of CT Gallantly's daughters for breeding once they
have been started under saddle. Sam will be bred to some outstanding mares this spring
with superior & Champion western pleasure bloodlines. (See our MARE page for more
details). His girls are sired by many greats like: CC Mr Goodbar, Zippos Old Gold, The
Claim To Fame, Buck McCue, a double bred Zippo Pine Bar Mare (both her sire & dam are
sired by Zippo Pine Bar) and a Doc Olena mare - these mares are all solids and should
produce minimal white tobianos.

refined in the head & neck. Our deepest condolences to Bev & Kandy on
the loss of this great Stallion April 25, 2008. All the best in your endeavors to find a
replacement for "Zuess"!

- Scribblesbuckskindude - A gorgeous buckskin tobiano mare with a "knack" for
producing good ones! Kind,
sweet, gentle mare. Her pedigree goes back to the famous paint horse - Scribbles and
Blondys Dude Sams.
Sams sire is by Sonny Amigo Bar. Much more than
just a pretty face and a World Halter Champion! Sonny Amigo Bar was
the 1998 APHA World Champion Tobiano Color Horse and placed in the top 10 Amatuer 2 year
old Halter Stallions. He has
an ROM in heading with 13 heading points, 5 heeling and 3 steer stopping points. He was
the Open Heading Winner at the
|2002 Denver National Western Stock Show & placed 2nd in Senior Heeling. This guy not
only know how to work - but looks

This is a tribute to an old friend - "Stan" was a Double bred Painted
Joe (One of North Americas fastest paint horses - even today).
"Stan" was the earner of APHA points in trail and western riding and the sire of
APHA point earners in trail and lunge line, PAC earners in halter, pleasure, trail, &
equitation.
He was laid to rest in 2002 and sired his last foal crop for us in 2003. PRR Devil Made Me
Do (a.k.a. "Damien) was his last offspring we owned. He found a new home January 19,
2008 with Vicki Rushfeldt, Calgary. Alberta.
